Mediocre movie
1 of 3 found this helpful I had heard Manchester by the Sea had been nominated for several awards. I am not sure why. There are too many swear words and much of the movie leaves you wondering why this was important. I bought the movie, but would not recommend it to many people to watch. There are much better options . . .

Great historic family movie.
2 of 2 found this helpful Hidden Figures is a great historic movie that the whole family can watch. It was light and entertaining while also reminding of how recent the Civil Rights movement was. It does not have the potty language of Manchester by the Sea (which my family hated). There are no Oscars here, just some good natured fun. Enjoy!
