excellent reference manual

I absolutely love this book. I have had 4 homebirths out of 7 and used this as my reference guide when my husband was my midwife. It's very comprehensive and understandable although their layman's terms are a little too layman. This is a great book in an emergency and has understandable step-by-step through the birth process. I purchased this book for two of my daughters when they were expecting their first baby.
