The Dutch House CD: A Novel - Audio CD By Patchett, Ann - GOOD

This is a great read.
I'm about halfway through the book. Excellent, compelling story extremely well written. The narration by Tom Hanks is excellent also, but a little distracting because all I keep picturing is Tom Hanks and therefore don't have a mental picture of the narrator. The writing and description of the house (which is really the main character in the book) is so detailed that you feel like you've been there. Highly recommend.

Rurouni Kenshin Complete Series Box Set Review: I paid more money for this rare box set than I normally would and was a little disappointed when it arrived. First off, the only thing that was sealed was the entire box set itself. The three sets inside were not sealed at all. Second, and most importantly, was the set-up of the DVDs themselves inside. Instead of having a nice sliding format or a fold-open box, the DVDs were stacked-up on top of each other in the center. In fact, when I opened one set a disc fell out. Third was the flimsy material that was used in the big box. While this is a regular downside in anime box sets this one was especially cheap material for such a high cost. It already has a dent in it. My last disappointment is kind of nitpicky but there were absolutely no extras that came with this. I wasn’t expecting anything based on the description but it’s always nice when you open it up and see a collector’s pin or even a T-shirt. Now of course the most important part is how the DVDs play and as far as I know all of them play perfectly (I’ve only tested two). This is why even with all the glitches, I am still quite happy to own one of my favorite anime series. Also the seller did a GREAT job with packaging. It was in perfect condition when it arrived. I guess in the end I’d only recommend buying this if you are a big Kenshin fan or you really like collecting anime things.
