Factors to consider
For those who prefer the flip phone design in pursuing 3G, this phone is one of the critical choices. Here are some factors I have found to be relevant. The primary difference between the V9x and the V9 is the GPS navigation feature on the V9x, but bear in mind that ATT considers this data, so to use it you will pretty much need to add a data plan, and avoiding this extra monthly expense may be one reason you prefer a flip phone. If you are paying for a data plan anyway, why not be using the superior GPS found with the smartphone format? A second issue is the battery life. Like you may be, I am forced by ATT to upgrade to a 3G device and oh how I miss the long battery life of my Razr v3. The V9x specs out a talk time of over 200 minutes on one full charge, but I have found it to be much less, more like 30-40 minutes. I am currently testing a new battery, but I have already found the low battery life to be true on two different V9x phones with two different BX50 batteries. Reviews online also indicate that low day to day battery life is a known issue with this phone and it is therefore not a good phone for those who actually use it's 'great features' a lot. Another known issue is that the power port tends to become 'doggy' (worn out and intermittently functional) from normal use more quickly than your average port. There are even cottage industries online available to replace the port on these phones for around $80. I of course discovered all this after buying the phone. I also discovered that the phone will not charge when off and must be left on when charging, a difference from the V3. New phones of this model are difficult to find on ebay and almost all offerings are manufacturer refurbished or used. This phone is a prime contender for those attempting to replace their Razr V3 with a 3G compatible phone that is similar to their beloved V3. It's about the same size, and will even fit into your used V3 holster case, but there is a very important issue for you to know before buying this phone. You will find that most ebay sellers of this phone are in China, and almost ALL those chinese sellers are selling you a European/Asian version of this phone, but they don't usually make that clear. The way they say it is by including the word WCDMA 2100 in the title, which probably means nothing to you. But this is very meaningful. It means that the 3G signal is receivable by this phone on the 2100 MHz bandwidth which is what they use in Asian and Europe for 3G. In America it's 850/1900 MHz (used on both for reasons not really relevant for this review). For USA use, make SURE you seek out and see 850/1900 MHz in the specs before you buy, or you'll do what I did - buy a phone that doesn't get 3G in America. Try returning the phone to China and you'll find it costs you significantly more than it costs them to ship it. This phone is not a dog, but these factors do make me miss my V3, one of the best phones ever made. Everyone says what nice features this phone has. But keep in mind - low battery life, using the old fashioned navigation requires a data plan, and nobody tells you until it's too late that it must get 850/1900 MHz for 3G or you're up a creek.

Unique and functional
For the low cost, this is a particularly good find. First of all, it's unique. It is quieter than most trimmers. It's a 'weak' trimmer, meaning you can't cut yourself with it, making it good for uneven skin surfaces. If it has an uneven connection to it's power source (a single AAA battery), this is an anomaly and I would buy another one. It can handle what most trimmers can do around the face and back of the neck.

Most versatile quality storage solution.
The Vario black backing line features an all around thickness of a quality item. The clear line is more flexible but is also superb and tends to be a bit more pricey. Discounts for quantity can lead to a per slot price of 3.7c on the 8S with the most economical sellers (for 100 sheets). It is a superior solution for bulk storage needs on a budget with front and back absolutely wonderful.
Con: The vertical slot seals use an adhesive that can fail to easily on the black line, so that when you are holding open a slot to insert material and are getting close to the outer edge of the sheet, the adhesive can surprise you by failing too easily. This weakness is not the same in all cases and is not an issue with the clear (C) line.
