Star Wars-Atlas: Any Good Or Not?
Even though this item reflects the old expanded universe of Star Wars - which is now defunct - it might still be in use by the 'Powers-That-Be' at Disney. Remember when Disney bought Lucasfilm they decided to reboot the SW universe - to get everybody back on the same page (so to speak). However since 2012 when Disney took over the SW universe it has been 'cherry-picking' elements from the old expanded universe of novels and comic books and putting them back into Disney-approved canon. (For one example the character of Thrawn has been brought into the Disney canon). So it might be this item is still in use by official sanctioned writers and producers. Perhaps someday Disney will approve a brand new version of this item that will be 100% canon. Meanwhile this item seems to be just valid enough for fan-fiction writers - like myself (note: I write SW fan-fiction in the format of screen play or teleplay scripts). This item provides star system names and hyperspace lane names that help to give my work a nicer level of detail. As a fan-fiction writer I try very hard to stick to Disney approved canon (so my SW characters, plots and other elements have the feel of being plausible in the Disney canon). If you are a fan-fiction writer or player of the table-top SW-RPG then this item will prove quite useful to your SW adventures!
