highly recommend
Had digital thermostats for years...They never seem to accurately measure the temperature in the house and the unit would just run forever when it came on...Switched back to this older style and the unit cycles off and on at a more constant rate...So its maintaining the temperature you set it to more accurately ...Keeping the house a consistent temperature...The only thing you need to do with this thermostat is set it and forget it...Also be careful adjusting it once it turns on the outside unit will immediately turn on...Moving it up and down to fast will kick the compressor off and on.... so I suggest sliding the cool switch to off position making your adjustments and then switching back to cool...I highly recommend it I even ordered a back up as a spare.
