Good for the money

The thin profile limits connectors to a micro usb. If you need HDMI out and a better screen resolution, you'll need to spend more money. The screen typing functions are excellent. You'll need to buy a usb power splitter in order to use full usb peripherals. Specs don't mention it, but reviewers have said that you can only use up to 32gb sd cards for added memory. Android 6 is quite a lot improved from the much older version I was using.

Great pickups.

I installed this in a vintage guitar for electric without altering the appearance of the instrument. (you will need to drill your rear strap button hole with a fairly large hole but the jack post looks normal when installed.

Great auto exposure control.

The camera is better than I expected for the usual price and a very good deal at the open box price I paid. Apparently the recent flood of inexpensive cams have exceptional nexgen auto exposure programming. The only downside is that in usb streaming mode the cam defaults to 4:3 format (probably relating to some former limitations in Windows). I found no work around except cropping in OBS. That said, I doubt anyone actually livestreams 4K to YouTube anyway, so the crop doesn't hurt anything. A bit of irony is that these review topics include light weight as an asset. I was glad this typically sized camcorder actually had some weight to indicate serious hardware and not a cereal box toy.
