Disappointing
This would appear to be a 1945-1984 atlas in the style of Arthur Banks excellent atlas of the 1861-1945 era. Sadly, instead of Arthur Bank's precise and detailed campaign maps, there are only minimal and superficial sketch maps showing almost no campaign information. Most of the information is in the form of only very brief histories of each conflict. It is unfortunate that the book's cover and title lead one to believe that it is a work of the same type and caliber as Bank's atlas; such is not the case. However for a superficial overview of world conflicts from 1945-1984, if may useful.
