Fits perfectly. I like that this version was not made with asbestos.
Wonderful and fits perfectly. A bit longer than the original but love that it does not have asbestos.

Does not Include Trim
I was getting this because I unit in my G55 was popping lout all the time. Technically this is the correct unit, but it does not include the plastic trim peice that I need to hold it in place. If you need a working unit and have a good plastic trim piece, this should work for your 2011 Mercedes G55 or G500

Hard to find solution
this is exactly what I needed for my thermador oven. It would not stay closed and the light was on all the time. Remove the door and replace the hinges and voila everything works as it should. This parts no longer available from thermador so finding this was great. Just wish it was less expensive.
