Fun for any age.
This is what I describe as a package full of surprises. The book itself is simply wonderful. Full of imagination and as funny as can be. Skippyjon Jones is a housecat who aspires to be much more and with his vivid imagination gets into all sorts of adventures. The way the book is written makes the reader speak in different spanish accents while telling the story which makes everything so much more fun and will have your kids begging you to read it again and again just to hear the silly voices you use. His adventures while they can be exciting never get scary or too dramatic for even the youngest kids. This particular version of the book even comes with a stuffed animal version of the main character with great attentiuon paid to every little detail including the mask he wears in the story. This book will be an instant favorite with kids of any age.

Dripping with nostalgia, a must for any fan of old comic book adverts.
This book is a wonderful way to relive some childhood memories. Basically the writer of the book spent a few years tracking down the toys from tons of different ads in old comic books and magazines. The stuff we always wanted as kids but couldn't convince our parents to hand over the cash for. The products range from things as innocent as army men to the iconic products that will turn you from the kid getting sand kicked in his face at the beach into the hulked out muscle man all the girls want to do the twist with while listening to the beach boys. It's an amazing collection of the olds ads AND of the actual things you get in the mail 6 to 8 weeks after you send in your 25 cents. Of course many of the products are pure disappointment but even those are reviewed hilariously. This book is a great coffee table companion and will have everyone who picks it up enjoying flashbacks of what used to be or could have been.
