A fun (but unrealistic) 1950s low budget SciFi with good and not so good acting.
The Magnet Monster is a cheesy 1950s SciFi. The first of the three Office of Scientific Investigation (OSI) films by Ivan Tors. It is also the best of the 3 in my opinion. "Riders to the Stars" is OK. I remember seeing it when I was a kid. The skeleton scene freaked me out! The final film "Gog" is so bad I have not actually been able to watch the whole thing. There is no continuity between the films. In many cases the same actors but in very different roles.
The science in Magnetic Monster is ridiculous. You just have to let yourself go and enjoy it. Acting ranges from very good to "OMG bad"
As low budget 1950s SciFi films go it is pretty good.
