An excellent choice for you grill
I bought the Kona Extra Large Grill Mat for my grill, and the fit is very precise. This size allows you to cook on every burner without having to use multiple grill mats, while keeping your grill spotless.
I have used it once to cook steaks and I conclude that it is much better than the woven copper mats.
The mat material on either side has a slick surface, which makes cleaning simple. The carbon residue created by cooking, easily wipes off with a cloth after mat has cooled. I cannot attest to the durability, but being it is not woven, there should be no edge fraying and wearing out.
As far as the performance, the steaks that were cooked on the
mat on lower heat, did retain their juices and were tender.
If you want to maintain a spotless grill and end the constant scrubbing of grill grates, consider this product. If used to cover all burners, there is no need for a grill brush anymore. You will not need it!
I highly recommend.
