Great product and value.
It's the real thing and better priced than I found at a nearby store.

A sturdy little knife, well priced. Be sure you can live with the clip.
1. It's sized better than larger models to fit in most pockets, and the blade is indeed sharp.
2. I always remove the pocket clips from new knives before using them, but that wasn't feasible with this model because that somehow made it very difficult to unlock the blade once open. So I took off a star for that deficiency.

Worth far more
With a block full of Japanese MAC knives, I know what sharp is. This fine, sturdy blade from Opinel was as keen as any of them out of the box. It is SUPER sharp!
I use it fearlessly with anything that contains bones, and in a pinch, it works perfectly as a utility knife. This Opinel is a great value and inexpensively rounded out my collection at fourteen fine knives.
