Very Impressed,Solid machine
2 of 2 found this helpful I received the XT 8000 added the provided oil, added gas and it fired right up (with factory precharged battery) and ran for 1 hour powering 2 500 watt halogen work lights (which only lit one bar on power meter) and it purred like a kitten, well lion. It is not overly loud considering its massive 10,000 surge watts and 8,000 running watts. Nice control board,hour meter, power output meter, covered plugs and the idle control is nice for the times you need power intermittently, idles down to save on fuel and sound. The included wheel kit makes the weight of the machine manageable.The extension cord that comes with it is nice and heavy duty. Overall the XT 8,000 seems built very solid and looks great and with the Generac name should last many many years. Thanks Generac.
