Ezio Bosso - and the things that remain
Indeed, the things that remain mostly, after an artist is gone, are his works of art... This is exactly the case with Ezio Bosso, an artist with many talents, but all having in common, his great love: the music....
A gifted pianist, composer, and orchestra director, who was discovered rather late in his life, after an appearance in San Remo Festival, only four years before his premature death, which happened three months ago...
This anthology contains 2 CDs, with him playing at the piano, compositions of his favorite composers (Bach, Chopin, Debussy), but also some of his most important compositions... the haunting, beautifully melancolic 'Following, a bird', with which he started his concerts, 'Rain, in your Black eyes', 'Smiles for Y', all having melodies and musical themes apparently simple, but complicate in their interpretation, magnificently executed by him...
And there's also a DVD, where we can see this magnificent artist playing his favorite Steinway piano, and only by the way he is sitting in front of it, and by the bandages in his hands, can we understand the difficulties that the neurological disease he was suffering from, put on his path...
A very successful path despite everything...
