Great Images But Battery Discharges Way Too Quickly

This camera is excellent for what I purchased it for, which is to create 3D 360° Virtual Tours for realtors. Its major shortcoming is the battery life. It has to be recharged after about an hour's use, whether you are actively using it or not (sleep mode). You also have to be really careful not to scratch the lenses, as they protrude from the camera, on both sides.
