The Real Deal, not a wanna-be
1 of 1 found this helpful Had never heard of these nail files until an elderly cousin said she would like a new one. Years ago you would have found these in your beautician's salon. Stainless steel coated with a fine diamond dust, one would pretty much last a life time... unless you got it from your beautician mother and you are 86 years old. Searching for Diamon Deb (not a typo) brings up a lot of similar looking and similarly spelled nail files, but don't be fooled! This is the real Diamon Deb!

Don't pay for the light....
1 of 1 found this helpful The magnification is fine, just keep in mind it's for looking at a limited area (think looking for 14K on gold, and you'll be happy). The light, however, is not. It comes with two button cell batteries, but the connection is rather tenuous, meaning the light sometimes comes on, but mostly doesn't. I plan on buying new batteries and seeing if that helps. If that doesn't maybe a little bending on the metal pieces will help. Oh. It does come with a little leatherette fabric holder. I had hoped it did, but it didn't show it for the lighted model, only for the one without the light, so that was a bonus.
