NEW ICOM UT-133A Bluetooth unit for ID-5100A ID-5100E IC-2730A IC-2730E IC-A120

Bluetooth access for iCOM ID-5100

It does what it’s supposed to do. Bluetooth link to PC Windows 10 tested for rig control. Tested with AirPods to listen. Use hand mic to talk. Be aware it does not work with iCOM’s iPhone app only Android. Shop for it. It’s a bit expensive but there are good deals. The UT-133A should support push to talk on other headsets like Peltor. I haven’t tested that yet. The UT-133A version is also harder to find for sale.

This is a reprint of the OEM manual that was printed by Helm. It’s exactly what I wanted. I have the 99 F-350 Diesel and the schematics are there along with the other configurations.

A nice kit to upgrade an old KPC-3. Glad they are available

This kit was great. Directions for the install were included and very nice - especially when paired with the KPC-3 user manual which has a board layout and circuit diagram included. It had instructions to install the hardware and to reset the KPC-3 to see that everything went ok. I think the hardest part is getting the jumper unsoldered from the board for the real-time clock but with some solder wick and patience it went fine. A desolder gun (like a haako) would be really handy. I did all my work on an antistatic mat with a wrist strap. Shipping was fast and the package arrived safely. Everything was properly protected. I would buy it again if I needed on.
