Excellent camera with good night vision.
Powerful camera, huge power drain on 6 AA batteries in one day on Time Lapse. Added a $11 lead-acid sealed battery, and the camera can stay out for a week with the largest memory chip.
A little pricey, considering there is no memory chip included. You really hope it works like it's supposed to when you keep pouring money into it.
Unless you want to go back and forth to the field twice as much to retrieve the camera then back home to download the data, then take the camera back to the field again, even though you have several days of battery left. You don't think about these things before you own one.
You'll need a laptop or other small computer to take to the field to save all that walking back and forth. Just about ANY junky old laptop will do; don't take your i7 and fall. Under $100 but now your investment has more than doubled.
The used cameras are almost as much as the new ones. But how much walking can you do to use this thing, and there's no moving parts. It works great, Browning rocks.
