Completely useless.
1 of 1 found this helpful Honestly, this thing is completely useless. I'd like to receive the refund, but the item look like it's posted, nothing I can do really. This is my first negative review in 5 years - I don't do this usually.
1. Item is really hard to mount. I get that rubber is stiff when you first get it, my other practice mute was also more difficult to mount at first, but this thing is just impossible. It will take you 10 minutes to put it on. Not to mention that you have to cut the holes on your own. Not to mention that if you press too hard, you might break your violin bridge. It will annoy you. A lot.
2. Mute barely works. Seriously, my violin is 10% more silent. That's nothing. Putting basically anything on a violin will mute it better.
3. Once it's mounted, chances are it will fall off within the next 5 minutes. Then you'll have to spend another 10 minutes mounting it.
In conclusion, this thing is a big annoying mess. I know it costs less than a dollar - trust me, your nerves aren't worth it. This thing isn't worth a cent. I'd actually pay someone not to ship me this thing again. It's not about the money, it's about you.
This thing will frustrate you, also might actually break your violin. I'm doing this review for you. Trust me, it's a hazard. Don't buy.

Awesome bow for price! Please, put exact weight of every individual bow in description.
1 of 1 found this helpful Please, put exact weight of every individual bow in description. My bow weights 58 grams and I absolutely LOVE IT! However, I can imagine it being an entirely different bow if it weighed 62 grams (which was a possibility).
All in all - definitely worth it.
