Nice, inexpensive, articulated armature toy
Fun for posing. Not necessarily great as an artist's manikin because it doesn't have human-like form or outlines/silhouette, rather, it's more like an inner skeleton. But a a great little toy for studying poses and could be used for stop motion animation tests. And it's much less expensive than other such armatures.
I suggest going to the modibot website ("botshop") to upgrade the character with extras like the more articulated torso, foot bases and/or magnets, hats, weapons, etc.
Some of the joints become loose, but there are ways of tightening them, such as coating the ball joints with a thin layer of Krazy glue, or inserting a tiny piece of paper or foil into the sockets.

Good replacement
A bit wider than the originals, but potentially more durable.
Waiting to see how they hold up after repeated use.
