Definitely Lighter & Flexible
We've only had this hose for two or so weeks, so how long it will last is anyone's guess. The hose is definitely lighter. The material is different than regular hoses - not as much webbing which is probably why it's both lighter and flexible and for what it's worth - softer. We have a well so therefore we don't have high city water pressure. The thing Flexilla stresses is to wind up and unwind the hose under pressure and they're spot on. It will kink if it's not under pressure. Once pressurized, the hose straightens right out.
I bought two different lengths, 50 & 100. I'll bet the 100 footer is 30 to 40% lighter than another 100' "premium" hose. A tad more expensive but worth it.

Questionable Value
1 of 2 found this helpful Used it on several SLA's. The results are questionable. Measured the battery voltage every several days for a two week period - no major improvement. Maybe the batteries are just too old. For the price, it was worth a shot.
