Contemporary books are great books for remediation and simplification
I have used Number Power books for several years. They have a knack for opening understanding for students who are struggling with concepts. I have used number power 3--Algebra, Number power 4--Geometry, and their refresher book. All three worked well with my students.

A Big Learning Curve But Great For Digital Art
Corel Painter is designed for serious digital art. It is complicated to use. Painter is complex and can be daunting for the novice trying to learn new software. It's success in simulation of real world art mediums sets it apart from other photo softwares. Although it is difficult to master the program, it is proving to be an interesting and valuable software program.
