Radeon R7 240 is an Excellent Choice for 4K Monitors

This card is a perfect choice for using my new 4K monitor. My system runs cooler, too, especially when I watch videos, because a lot of the heavy graphics work is offloaded onto the card by the AMD software. I don't do gaming, so I can't comment what this card does with game.

Needs more to work effectively

This adapter provides the necessary electronic conversion between SAS and SATA. But it is ineffective when using a SAS drive attached through to a SATA cable, because the motherboard BIOS has no provision for issuing the necessary command to start the drive spinning up. However, it should be perfectly OK for connecting inexpensive SATA drives to a SAS controller.
