A great buy for ANY railroad enthusiast!
As an avid modeler I was interested in detailing some intermodal cars for my model railroad. I have found this author to be very specific and very informative in other books he's written. This book did not disappoint! There are great photos very descriptive captions and more information than you could need, without giving information you wouldn't need. Whether you just want to add some minor details, or completely super-detail a model this book will guide you through the process including which parts to buy. It outlines not only rail cars, but intermodal trailers, containers and other equipment as well.
If you're not into modeling, this book is still very good. It contains all sorts of information on prototype railroads, equipment and operations down to the very minor details. You would not be disappointed with this book!
