Works great as advertise.
This product saves time and is a lot cheaper than building an adjustable regulator from scratch. You set it for the required voltage and it holds that voltage under load. It is ideal for powering 2 volts leds that are starting to be coming common now. It doesn't take that much space, easy to adjust compared to other circuits that I have obtained. Being a Model Railroader this product has solved a lot of problems and is a lot quicker that building an adjustable power supply, providing you can get the parts to build your own power supply. Have tried another version of an adjustable regulator and found it hard to set, needed a special tool to adjust the voltage and the adjustment was very touchy to set to the output voltage needed.
Have purchase another batch of them, and would recommend them to the hobbyist needed an good low voltage regulator..

Just what the doctor order for my needs
This unit is what I was looking for to control maximum voltage output for certain model railroading applications. This prevents an operator of a model train from going to fast and causing problems.
Also it is good for controlling maximum voltages for lights, action details etc. I know there are other methods to control maximum voltages but to me this is simple and very reasonable in cost. Also saves much time required to scratch build the various voltage control circuits that I need, which ended up costing more that the cost of this unit and saves time hunting for the required parts.
