5 minute installation, no need to pull door panel
A great replacement part, even if the same as original, I.e. plasticky. 5 screws to secure the base plate, then snap the armrest cover onto it. And you’re done. Even if I have to replace this again, it’s economical and fast.

TPI-link fantastic value mesh system
Unless you’re upgrading to wifi 6, these TPI deco units (wifi 5) are a great and seamless mesh wifi system. I have 6 of them with one of them Ethernet wired to my cable modem/router to ensure a wide bandwidth into the mesh. Three were okay for our 3500 sq foot 2 story house, but I needed some garage and yard range too so added a second set of 3. 4K streaming over wifi on 2 TV’s plus 1k on a 3rd tv with no issues at all. Another great advantage of mesh is ability to wonder around with your mobile devices, with constant fast connectivity. Value vs performance is excellent, especially compared to our cable provider offers.

Too bad discontinued
These wireless add-on thermostats are great. Pairing to my main Insteon thermostat was easy, and our tenant now has some control over temperature. Even though it is not as good as an expensive two zone system, it’s a great compromise. It’s really such a pity that this unit is discontinued. I couldn’t find anything else that comes close even though I have a bicapable hub (Insteon and zwave)
