ROUGH RIDER Stag Handle Straight Fixed Hunter HUNTING Knife + Sheath RR1394 New!
Aug 01, 2017
Solid Hunting Knife
I was looking for a robust stag handle hunting knife of the right size to field dress a whitetail deer. This is a perfect size to get inside the cavity yet large enough to effectively remove large hides. If this came from Germany, it would be $150 more expensive. I am not sure of the blade material yet. If it doesn't hold an edge from use, or stains, I will add to this review with an update.
Third Hand Archery Tree Stand Gun Hoist

The best way to get your rifle up to your tree stand!
I have been looking for a product to use in my tree stand to get my expensive rifle up and down safely without scratching the stock or dragging the barrel in the dirt. I have a left handed Model 700 Remington 270 and have kept the stock pristine over the years but have had to tie knots to secure it without any metal clips or carabiner hooks not to scratch it. This hoist strap has a really secure front pouch for the front of the barrel which faces it downward then a simple plastic quick clip like on a backpack goes around the stock. Make sure you check the length of the rear strap to match your rifle before you hang this hoist from your tree stand. If you have a shorter rifle all you do is tie a couple knots in the strap between the front pouch and the clip strap. Hang the strap from your stand so the barrel will be a foot or so off the ground when the rifle is strapped in. The website suggests you can also hang your backpack on the clip strap and haul both up at once. I had a thermos in my pack along with binoculars and some essentials. The whole thing was a bit heavy so the rest of the hunt I used a simple (cheap) reflective rope with a connected carabiner for my backpack separate from this gun hoist. The pack rope length I made to keep the backpack on the ground away from the gun hoist strap. That kept it out of the way while I raised the gun (which stays pointing downward). I LOVE this hoist! I didn't think it would make a difference but the strap was a lot easier to raise and lower than a rope is.

I love this entire package and it displays extremely well.
SWEET T2 collectable! Nobody even mentions that there is a button on the side that when pressed lights up the red eyes to glow for about 15 seconds with some sound effects. This sure beats spending $600 for a T2 statue AND you get 6 disks of T2 movies and extras. This item looks better in person than on the photos. Highly recommended.
