Okay--May be best among very limited choices these days
I bought this as a backup for the one I have, since these personal CD players have become scarce. It plays fine, but the motor is a little noisy. I use it only to listen to music in bed at night. (You need to press the ESP button each time you start a new CD, after pressing play, otherwise it will skip and hesitate--on odd quirk, but doesn't mean the player is defective, as so many buyers have claimed here, and on Amazon, because they didn't bother to read the directions.) Also, the two I got were both made in 2008, so this must be a discontinued model. The one I use is #5451, without the volume control attachment and it was made it 2014 and plays must quieter, but I've been unable to find any of those for sale anywhere. I used to get them at Radio Shack, but they have discontinued them, even online. Good luck!
