Works perfect
1 of 1 found this helpful I have installed two of these lately, one for a residential customer and one for a restaurant. Was a little concerned that 6.6 GPM might not be enough but this little guy works great at running 2 showers at the same time. Just don't go turning on the washing machine while everyone is taking showers. Everything has it's limits. I personally have a 9 GPM Noritz on my house and if I am showering and my wife turns on the washer I immediately get a cold shower and loss of water pressure. This water heater will do everything a 40 gallon standard tank heater will do and never run out. The other unit I put in a restaurant and replaced a 150 gallon boiler that was leaking. Met code and freed up a ton of space and also took all that heat the boiler produced out of the kitchen area. Most people around here are using Rania tankless. My customer was quoted 2100.00 just for the water heater. People don't realize Takagi and Noritz have been around a lot longer and used in Europe and Asia for years. Nothing at all wrong with Rania except the price. Yes the condensing units are more efficient, and they all have their own model line of condensing heaters, but it would take years to justify the savings. Hope this helps.

It worked but had to modify.
This was supposed to be the genuine OEM conversion kit for this Frigidaire range but one orifice for the left rear burner was incorrect. Luckily it was smaller than what was required and I do this for a living and had a set of orifice drills and a btu conversion chart and could drill it out to the proper size. I have bought similar conversion kits for half the price but needed this for a job right before thanksgiving. Shipping was quick and it was what it was. 5 brass orifices.
