Strictly fashion. Not good coverage.
These are cute and look fine from straight on, but the gap between my eye and the lens from the side is about 1.5". This lets a ton of sun in from the side. I'm not sure if it's just my face structure or what. I do not normally have this issue with sunglasses. I will be keeping them, however. I can surely find a time to wear them and the price was cheap enough, so it's not worth the hassle.
