I am a native North Carolinian and served a little over 20 years with the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologist, specializing in Electronic Communications. I retired from the Navy in 1991 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer having received numerous awards including designation as a Surface Warfare Specialist and as a Master Training Specialist. Currently I am serving as a Local Pastor with the United Methodist Church. In my spare time, I like to practice my skills as a nature and wildlife photographer and am a member of the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association, the Seacoast Artists Guild, Coastal Carolina Camera Club and the Tidelands Photography Club where I like to share my skills with others. My addiction to photography began in 1974 while I was stationed in Hawaii. My first commercial sale was in 1975 when I recorded the cover image for the “Welcome” brochure of the Honolulu Zoo. My images are prominently displayed in homes and offices around the country.
