This is the real thing. Comes with hologram sticker on the back, device manager reports it as an Atheros chip. Enters "promiscuous mode" like it's supposed to. Kali Linux has drivers for it and it installs normally. Also works well with Win 7 64-bit. Gets significantly better reception than say for example my Samsung cell phone, so the reports about it's ability to pick up weaker transmissions are apparently true. Has a convenient clip. Everything worked great until this morning when I discovered the cans had knocked it off the window and into a bucket of wash water I stupidly left on the floor immediately below. It's NOT waterproof. I'm immediately buying another one to replace the one the cats destroyed. Cats are a-holes. This is a good wireless adapter. If anyone wants a wireless adapter, this is a good one to get, and if anyone wants a cat I have several I'm giving away for free. They're good for pets or food; whichever you prefer.

Either NOT JIS or There Is No Difference

It was recommended to purchase this screwdriver on SeaDoo forums because they say the Mikuni Carburetors use JIS and not #2 Phillips screws. So I ordered this JIT screwdriver and it stripped the head of the 1st screw I used it on. A close comparison between the head of this screwdriver and a standard #2 Phillips shows they are EXACTLY the same, so either the claims that there is some significant difference between them is false, and a JIS screwdriver is unnecessary, or this is a fake, and instead of having a JIS end it has a standard Phillips #2. They look EXACTLY the same. They fit EXACTLY the same. This screwdriver flops around a bit inside the Mikuni Carb's screws EXACTLY the same as a #2 Phillips. There was NO DIFFERENCE between the two. For comparison, I used a 2" DeWalt #2 Phillips screw bit, so there's no doubt that I had a #2 Phillips, what *IS* in doubt is whether or not this screwdriver is actually a JIS screwdriver. I can't say. What I CAN say is that it gave me NO HELP AT ALL in removing the screws from the Mikuni Carbs. What did work was setting the DeWalt cordless screw gun's torque low and then ratcheting it upwards until it started to break the screw's loose, similar to an impact screwgun, which I think ultimately is the best tool to use to remove these super-tight screws. I think Mikuni used something like Loc-Tite on the threads, as there is a hard white substance on the threads. Screw removal pulled some of the aluminium threads off the body of the carb, so dealing with these screws is serious business. These carbs sell at $250 each, so removing the screws without damaging the carburetor is critical. This screwdriver is NOT the solution. I think the "ratchet" effect of the screw gun allowed the bit to slide back down the head of the screw and reseat itself prior to being put under pressure/force to unscrew the screw, and that "reset" effect is what prevented the screwgun from stripping the head of the screw. This screwdriver also partially stripped two other screws before I set it aside and started using the screw gun. I can use those two again, but the 1st one is ruined and it's difficult to find a replacement. Leaving this here in case anyone else follows that guy's bad advice. If you are working on a Mikuni Carb, don't use this tool, you'll ruin your carb's screws. However, having said that, it's a good quality tool for what it is. General, household use, sure. It's okay. I wouldn't buy it, but again my review is aimed for the specific purpose of removing screws from a Mikuni Carburetor.
