Saves money.

Works better with older propane tanks. The new tanks shut off when you tilt them so only gas not liquid propane goes into the small tank. The tanks with round knobs are the older ones and can be turned upside down so that the smaller tank is filled with liquid propane. It also helps if you freeze the smaller tank before filling.
