Hingy McHinge

The original hinge on my freezer having unexpectedly broken, it was time for a new one. No question about that. The replacement duly arrived and was fitted thus allowing the freezer door to be put back on. This had a positive effect on the fish fingers, sausages and ice cream which remains frozen.

It's green and grassy!

Got an area of land at the end of the garden which is under some trees. Nothing much has grown in this area but weeds. Thought I'd give this a try and so pleased I did. Pulled up the weeds and scattered this about. Watered over next few days as it was a very dry period. Nothing happened for a couple of weeks and I was sceptical about this seed. However it did indeed begin to germinate and about a month later is a really good patch of grass. I intend to put some more down in areas which didn't get so much seed to even it out and deal with the inevitable weeds that have also grown but I'm very happy with this. Read some reviews for people who were disappointed. I reckon if you keep the seed damp it will germinate and you need to keep watering it areas and be patient.
