It takes a little getting used to...
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this item because I wanted the Text To Speech. However the software mangles some street names. For example it says to "take Interstate 5 North to Los Hongles". I can see the see the sort of Spanish pronunciation of Los Angeles, but you would think they could put in big city names. I hate to think what it does with the biggest city in New Mexico.
I also quibble with the arrival point. It says you arrived up to 1/4 mile before you actually get there and does not say which side of the street as my old Garmin did.
On the other hand, It did a great routing job during rush hour traffic in going up the Disneyland area. It routed my up the 55 and across the 22, exiting at Haster. Instead of the 5 to Katella which is jammed during rush hour. Just the way I would go at that time of day.
The intelligent travel time is much better because of their database of travel times.

I love this thing.
I love this thing. I can stick it into a jam or hot milk and get the temperature of the contents. The only minor drawback is that the temperature is not instantaneous. It creeps up over a minute or two. Once it is reading it, is stays pretty current. The paddle is dishwasher safe, but the temperature sensor and digital display part should be removed for cleaning when you are done. As with any electronic device the display should not be near water so as not to short it out.
