Fine as far as it goes
1 of 1 found this helpful This DVD box set of televised Ruth Rendell stories is fine as far as it goes, but buyers should be aware that it is not a complete collection. Everything made before 1992 - including most of the Wexfords - is missing, apparently subject to a dispute over rights issues which some say is unlikely ever to be resolved.
There are some good things in this set and it is nice to have, but calling it "The Best of Ruth Rendell Mysteries" really is rather misleading.

My favourite story was "Elspeth Buchan, Her Book"
I enjoyed this collection. The stories were all interesting but my favourite was 'Elspeth Buchan, Her Book' by Iona McGregor. What an intriguing and original story. I'd like to read more by this author.
