Good quality construction, poor performance

The construction of this unit seems to be pretty good. The stand works fine, the on/off switch is in a convenient location and the filter seems to be adequate. However, the air flow just does not seem adequate. Unless you solder _directly_ in front of the hood, it will not draw the solder fumes away from your face.
