best entry in to the Mac ecosystem

Picked up this macbook used, and I must say it works very well. It originally came with osx snow leopard, but I quickly upgraded to Mavericks for free. Under Mavericks it works very well thanks to it's awesome memory management, but I think you will benefit greatly by upgrading right away to 4GB or more since it ships with 2GB stock. I have noticed it gets a little laggy under stress, but this is because of the memory bottle neck and I was doing a lot of stuff that was taxing the system, and even then I don't think it was much of an issue. This machine works great and is the last macbook to ship with core 2 duo and dedicated graphics. I highly recommend this Macbook to anybody wanting to see what all the hype is about in apple computers and that don't want to spend too much on doing so. You will not be disappointed, and once you get a fell for OSX you will never want to go back to windows again.

You will love it

I was skeptical at first to buy the Rachio version 2 at first. Specially at retail value. Purchased this rachio on ebay at a fraction of the retail price. The system is super easy to set up, and will require little effort to monitor. If you have a lawn this is a great way to make your irrigation smart. It works with other smart home devices, so it can complement your home nicely.

This is a good alternative to the wink hub 2. It still works great specially if you are on a tight budget and starting out with home automation.
