Good protection, but cosmetically flimsy
This case did a good job protecting my phone, but the surface soon stained and no amount of scrubbing could clean it, and the rubberized layer started to peel off after just a couple of weeks of use. It looked nice new, though.

Love it, bought a second one because I liked it so much.
1 of 1 found this helpful You just can't beat these units for the price and small form factor.
As with some other, much more expensive multi-effects units I've tried, the trick for some of the sounds is to not go to "strong" either in the mix or the intensity of the effect to get a good analogue color to it. The FX-600 is neat in that if you do turn them down, you've get pretty good effects for most "normal applications" and if you crank them, you get crazy experimental sounds.
EFFECTS INCLUDED
- Pitch Shifter:
can do everything from an octave up to an octave down... by far the best value on the pedal
- Tremolo:
can be subtle, no really strong on/off square-wave setting available though
- Delay:
lot's of variability to this one... does crazy self oscillation if everything is cranked
- Phaser:
very subtle coloration, even at a higher mix level
- Chorus:
Can be subtle as well as really thick and very univibe-like at high settings with some artificial-ness to it
- Flanger:
hard to make this flanger sound subtle unless it's before your distortion - no "jet plane" sound but at high settings very metallic and robot like
BUILD QUALITY
A lot of people knock Behringer pedals for the plastic housing, but the housing is built very tough. Criticisms of knobs being mounted directly to circuit boards and other internal construction quality issues might be legitimate concerns though. I own several Behringer pedals and only one failed on me (and it had issues from the start, not the FX-600 though).
I own two FX-600's, and in series they make for a very versatile combination in my guitar set-up. What is really neat is how the mix nobs in combination with the pitch shifting can really give you great results when you have two of these in line with each other.
STEREO
I have never tried using the stereo functionality of these, so I cannot speak to it.
BYPASS AND NOISE
These are not particularly noisy pedals, and I have noticed very little tone loss when in bypass mode.
CONCLUSION
I bought a second one just to have two in my set-up, and I own probably 15 other guitar pedals, including three other multi-effects units. So I can definitely endorse these - if you can't afford boutique pedals costing three or five times as much as this pedal just to cover each effect on it, I highly recommend trying this one for $40 or less.

Plastic AllParts Jack Tightener, if it fits, it might work, but it didn't for me
Simply doesn't fit the nuts on many of my guitars, and doesn't grip as well as I expected. Super soft plastic that is sure to strip quickly, very disappointed in this product. Pretty expensive for a two piece plastic tool that ways about an ounce.
