Excellent Performance
2 of 2 found this helpful This is an excellent unit. It does take a short moment to initialize and operate, not operating as fast as other units. Otherwise the picture is high quality and the features normal for a unit of this price range.

The Next Level for Digital Sound
Needed a basic amp with multiple HDMI inputs for cd player, dvd player, cable box, apple tv box, and a few extra inputs for whatever piece of equipment the digital world creates. I never really liked digital sound, however this amp is great for 5.1 surround sound mixes and CD/DVD playback. Really like the onscreen control system which allows selection of any HDMI or input port............don't have the to leave the chair with an excellent remote this offers. Like also the 2-port subwoofer option for 2 subwoofers, as well as zone 2 for the surround mix while the helicopter in Terminator 2 flies over my head. Although it says 7.2 in the manual, if I am not mistaken it really is only a 5.1 mix with the rear presence speakers for added effect. Recommend you use bannana plugs for hookup at rear of amp.
Have fun with this unit, as it will crank the sound at a rated minimum 100 watts(?) per channel. I bought the unit online with E-Bay and, after trying many other amps, this is a landmark purchase. See you in the next world when I buy a 9.1 surround amp.

Felix at his Best
Excellent recordings from an all-time favorite band. Professional arranging and the sound quality faithful to the Atlantic Records tradition. Favorite cut is "Ready for Love" and the other titles equally as good. Bought the album cuz I like the vinyl experience.
