First LP by the incomparable Vince Guaraldi Trio, a fitting West Coast jazz "prequel" to the beloved Peanuts soundtracks. Disc was fine for a recording now half a century standing.

Timeless performances and production from a truly creative era. Had we more original bands like this today perhaps the world would be better.
Truly psychedelic, a formative band at one of their peaks, amping up a folk ethos with brilliant vocals and guitar work. Marty Balin deserved more recognition than he got. Disc has extra tracks, not up to the rest of the album (some earlier outtakes or mono versions), but worth having anyway.
