Well made studs.
Well built carbide tip, large base...feeds well through stud-gun.

Love this thing!
I live in true 4-season, salt and mag-cl treated roads. Needed rear bearing-hub assemblies on an Impreza. The first one I tried heat, a 12lbs slide-hammer, direct impact, daily dosing with penetrating oil over the course of 4 days. I discovered this product, and in the mean time mimicked it by welding pipe directly to the stubborn assembly...It worked. Finally. 4 days, sore muscles, and a lot of effort.
When this tool arrived, I set a timer. The first blow stripped the included 14mm flange nuts, I replaced with some old lug nuts and g8 washer. 2 hits from either side with a 5lbs sledge, then 1 blow with gusto straight down...all it took. 30min from car on all 4 tires on the ground to separation of bearing-hub assembly. Back-plate was still attached but removed easily with a mushroom bit in the air-hammer.
I was concerned about damage to ball-joints, shocks, and the knuckle the assembly (and Brakes) attaches too, but the impact is sharp and instantaneous. Should be no worse than hitting a pothole.

Works well for field recordings.
2 of 2 found this helpful Great quality audio at a reasonable price. I read other reviews and was concerned about ease of use...turned out to be a non-issue. I actually found it to be pretty easy to set-up and use, my biggest trick was to read the manual! It is pretty light, but I use it in the field to augment GoPro's. So far, no problems.
