Still useful after all these years
I used this meter decades ago for still and cinema. Today, I compared readings of this meter with several of my digital meters, and under identical light conditions the analog Sekonic produced identical readings as the digital Sekonics, and under more complex lighting conditions, with a lot of light and shadow, I believe the older meter was MORE accurate, used properly. The addition of the complete slide set made this purchase particularly valuable. Also, I was able to restore the leather case to like-new condition.

Older Model Carbon-Fiber Gitzo
The joints all worked but were a bit gritty. A thorough clean-up and light joint greasing made the operation smooth. With the addition of spiked feet and a new ball head the old tripod has a new life.
