Best I have used
1 of 1 found this helpful Best solder I have ever used. currently I am restoring a pair of Spica Angelus speaker's and the tweeter voice coil wires came loose at the terminals. I have always used Dayton silver solder, and it is a good quality solder, however it has a much higher temperature melt point. That is fine for some applications, not for soldering small thin, fine components. The Cardas Quad has a low melting temperature so less heat is required. It also cures with a nice shinny surface once you clean the flux off. From an electrical stand point it is very cunductive making for a better "joint". I don't believe I will ever use another solder again for crossover's and restorations of fine high end electronics. I will be buying more!
