Beginning of an Amazing Series
The only Splinter Cell games worth playing, in order:
Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
For a 2002 game, the graphics are beautiful. You really get to appreciate the lighting mechanics in this one. Amazing soundtrack composed by Michael Plowman. Timeless game. Michael Ironside is the only real Sam Fisher.

This is not what you would expect from Death to Spies
I remember anticipating Death to Spies 3 for so long. Not many people had even heard of the first few games. I remember seeing the alpha footage trailer, and then the game went off the radar.
Fast forward almost two years later, and I accidentally happen upon Alekhine's Gun: the new title for Death to Spies 3! I was so excited, I thought it had been canceled.
"This is gonna be a rival to Hitman!" I said.
But then I received the game in the mail. It all went downhill from there.
You literally cannot see. The lighting is absolutely terrible. Nothing you adjust on your TV will fix it. I have no idea where I'm going half the time. Also, there's no way to adjust display settings on the in-game menu.
The AI is something you would see in a 90's game. They forget any wrongdoing they witnessed you committing after you go into a different room and close the door.
The controls are TERRIBLE. Nothing about them is smooth or logical.
There are quite a few buildings in what I've played of the game so far that are just inaccessible, but completed on the outside, save for a boarded-up set of doors.
The game is latent with proof that the developers lacked the time and funding to release a polished final product. I feel bad for them, because those who've played their previous games can see what they've achieved in the past.
I figure it couldn't be as bad as people said. Some people complain about how clunky and unfinished Thief: Deadly Shadows was, and I absolutely loved that game!
This is not case with Alekhine's Gun. The one star rating is not me just being mad and overly dramatic. It's honesty; the game is genuinely unplayable.

Beats God of War
There are more boobs in this anyway.
