Excellent MCA adapter.
Pros: Excellent MCA adapter. Although it is 32-bit, it works fine even in a 16-bit slot. The MS-DOS driver works fine even in Windows 95, although, like all DOS drivers, it has to run in real mode, decreasing performance slightly. There is also excellent MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, and (of course) OS/2 support. Unlike most adapters of the day, it has a built-in RJ-45 port and connects directly to modern networks without the need for a transceiver.
Cons: There is only one con that I can think of, and it is not specific to the adapter. Connecting a machine this old to the internet is a bad idea. Any OS that will run on a machine with an MCA bus will have MASSIVE unpatched security holes. Best used for local transfer of data on a machine that is not allowed access to the Internet at the network level. If connected to the internet, I recommend an isolated VLAN where this machine has no access to any other devices on your network.
