Sharp & light, just play around to find limitations. All lenses have limitations.
As with a lot of zooms, it's better at mid ranges rather then soomed totally in or out.
But for the price I can't complain. Macro is ok in a pinch, if I don't want to carry a dedicated macro lens.
Shoot at f/4 for constant aperture & carry 1 light weight walk around lens.
Just what I bought it for.

Great binos for daily use
I enjoy the size, due to being smaller to travel with, as opposed to my 8x42 binos.
The only sacrafic is a little FoV & brightness in low light.
