Perfect
It was written by a prominent citizen who understood how one-room schools worked and the hardships teachers had to endure in the mid 1800's. So far, I have bought three copies for my Hoosier family.

Fancy cane
I have to say that I have not seen it. I had it sent directly to my son in South Dakota. He said he likes it. I bought him a practical adjustable cane, but then I wanted t give him a pretty cane.
