Welds fine
Not sure how they get away with a 15 Amp plug on a machine that claims to need 35a breaker. The average person could easily cause an electrical fire.
On a 15 or 20 Amp standard house outlet, you can't weld past low without tripping the circuit.
Correct solution,
Cut the plug off the machine and install a 50 Amp.
Have your electrician install a matching 50a receptacle from your main panel, with #8 wire, on a 35a breaker.
(standard plug size jumps from 30 to 50)

Perfect
Best answer,
If you want to do it right the first time, spend a few extra $ and get one of these hones.
I tried several flexible hones and they made my cylinder look like an inverted road cone. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
